Day of Mindfulness Retreat: Sun, Nov 8 (9AM-3PM PT | 10AM-4PM MT)

Professional burnout and compassion fatigue were an epidemic in medicine amongst Health Care Professionals prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the pandemic, the human toll for patients, for families, and for health care personnel is not indescribable, and will not be entirely understood for years to come.
Stress levels are on the rise for fertility clinic staff and patients amid the added uncertainty of the pandemic. In an effort to acknowledge what is happening, and support fertility healthcare providers & support staff we are offering this free workshop for Healthcare Providers and Support Staff currently working with fertility and reproductive health patients.
Join Dr. Dzung Vo, Director of the BC Children’s Hospital Centre for Mindfulness as he discusses mindfulness and how it supports our well being. Followed by Mindfulness for Fertility Instructors, Stephanie Curran and Dr. Alda Ngo as they share some mindfulness tools to help you deal with the elevated occupational stresses during these challenging times.
